VOLTA was established in January 2018 as a wholly owned subsidiary of ENVIPRO HOLDINGS Inc.,
which is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Since 2011, the ENVIPRO Group has been conducting verification tests to recover cobalt and nickel from lithium-ion batteries.
VOLTA recycles rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion batteries and
nickel-metal hydride batteries based on its knowledge and recycling know-how of our group companies.
With a view to competition with Chinese companies that have already taken the lead in this field,
we will continue to establish recycling schemes that take advantage of our group's comprehensive strengths and
further develop selection technologies to take on the challenge of becoming a leading recycling company that captures new markets.
We will play a role in playing a part in the rializing a sustainable society
by leveraging our strengths in the thorough shredding and sorting technology,
which is our strength, and the trading function of purchasing and sellling products from overseas.
